The concept is you are a manager for a WWF Superstar like The Rock or The Undertaker. You might call it a MMCCG (Massivly Multiplayer Customizable Card Game. Also, I didn't find a way to change the key map, so I'll tell you which keys to use: O – left, P – right, Q – up, A – down and Space – hit Player two can use the arrow keys and num 0 for hit.First, I have to admit, this isn't exactly an CCG. I had a feeling that it runs a bit slow, so I played it at 6000 cycles. These power struggles are really murder on your keyboard (you must press left and right as fast as possible).Īll in all, a nice little game I loved to play, and that brought back many memories, so I'd give it a 4. Whoever wins will do something to the opponent. There's basically just one wrestler-specific move and that's the move they execute after winning a power struggle (just stand close enough together and they'll lock their wrists and start testing their strength). To start running, double-press in the same direction and you can do a dropkick while running (or the opponent can counter by throwing you in the air). You don't have many moves - just your basic kicks and punches. I liked the taunts that the wrestlers give to each other before the start of the match most of all (they don't have an effect on the match, but are kind of funny). ![]() I always chose either 'The British Bulldog' or 'The Ultimate Warrior' (I somehow dislike Hulk Hogan, and these are the only choices available). The gameplay itself is simple enough, and you can either compete for a title and play against the computer, or practice against a friend (unfortunately your friend will always have to play 'Mr. The sound is not really worth mentioning, though. Made in 1991 by Ocean, Wrestlemania's graphics are good for the time in which it was created, and the game runs smoothly enough (even if you do see an occasional glitch at the bottom of the screen). It's yet another wrestling game, but this time it's truly an old gem. I guess you can tell by now that I simply love wrestling and basically all kick-the-other-guy-in-the-ass kind of games. ![]()
